THE HEART
This school is all about adventure that leads to taking action. This DTS is for you if you love God, fast paces, celebration, sports and people! We desire to go where roughly 73% of the European population live: in the urban cities!
Discover intimate friendship with God through personal revelation and community living. This will be a life-changing, transforming experience. We’re not just aiming to attain more head knowledge, but to allow God’s truth to reach our core, overflow in our lives, and impact those around us.
THE IMPACT
This 11-week outreach phase will take you and your backpack through three to four significant locations across Europe and beyond. We will reach out to many people to share God's love with a focus of using sport, and celebration as a means to share the gospel.
We are ready to go anywhere and everywhere God directs our team! Whether this looks like sleeping in churches, on airport floors or staying in hostels! We want to see Europe+ impacted and transformed by the power and love of Jesus Christ!
Backpack Europe DTS has been reaching out to European cities since 2017; in addition, we are now expanding beyond this continent! Come ready for adventures in Europe as well as options to go to the 10/40 window as we serve an incredible Creator who goes out his way to meet people.

SIFRA LOONSTRA
Since joining YWAM Paris Connect in 2021, Sifra has staffed two years of the Sports DTS. She comes from the Netherlands and did her own DTS in Perth, Australia in 2019. Sifra is a courageous, joy-giving leader and has a prominent love for the people God places around her.
JOSIAH ANDREWS
From USA, Josiah did the Backpack Europe DTS at YWAM Paris Connect in 2022. He was a Student Leader of his own outreach & months later staffed the Sports DTS. He's an intentional, humorous disciple and is passionate for sharing the love of God with others.
