THE CALL TO
Paris
Founded in October 2017, the campus began with 12 people moving to Paris following a word from the Lord. God showed campus leader’s Adam & Leah Thompson that His eye was on the city of Paris, and that this city would be a bridge to the nations. It was time for a new YWAM campus to be planted and grown into a place of ministry and missional training in order to impact the city and surrounding nations!
Since then, God has expanded the campus rapidly. The full time volunteers have tripled. Several training schools run every year, as well as frequent local seminars & hosting & sending international outreaches. All because God’s heart is to see His children impacted and restored.
THE MISSION
Know God & Make Him Known
YWAM Paris Connect (YPC) is a passionate and dynamic urban community of international believers committed to knowing God and making Him known through evangelism, training, and mercy ministries. We are called to bring the Kingdom of God by focusing on cities, youth, and the unreached in Europe and the 10/40 window. Belonging with purpose, we want to see Paris transformed by the power of God and for it to be a launching pad to the nations.
OUR FOUNDERS
Adam & Leah Thompson
They began as missionaries in YWAM Perth, Australia in 2004. After training, serving, and leading Discipleship Training Schools, they moved to southern France in 2012 to help pioneer a new YWAM campus. They served on the leadership team until 2017 when God began to shift their focus towards pioneering in Paris. They have an immense passion for the lost and training up the new generations in the ways of God.
