Welcome to YPC
In October of 2017, a motley crew of 12, chose obedience and followed the call of God to Paris. God had been speaking of a missional community in one of the most influential cities in the world: Paris. The city is bustling with 12 million people whose culture and fashion influence France and the world. It has easy, affordable access to share the Gospel with the nations. A three hour flight to the unreached and buses to every major hub in Europe. God opened doors for them to plant in Aubervilliers, a strategic area of Paris. Twenty minutes to the airport and the most diverse postcode in France, home to 190 different nationalities. The nations on their doorstep.
The pioneering process was not simple but God was continuously faithful - hundreds of housing rejections, closed doors, long days of prayer, and hunting for property. In times of need, God taught this team what it means to live in His ways of beauty and abundance. When they had little, they shared with one another abundantly, and pursued beauty and quality in their physical space and ministry.
Learning to trust the Lord in the early days has shaped us and created a community built on the faithfulness of God and the hope that He will make a way. In the last nine years, the original crew has grown into a lively international campus of 45 full time staff, representing 16 Nationalities, speaking 10 different languages! YPC has consistently run DTS’, multiple secondary schools and a variety of events that serve and reach the local community. If you were to poke your head into the Campus today you would be greeted by vibrant young people from all over the world, pursuing God through dynamic worship, holistic discipleship, and commitment to see God transform cities through their simple obedience and individual gifts. There is never a dull moment here at YPC.
As God has shown His favour, and we have moved out of an establishing season into a season of planting and building. Being surrounded by beauty and abundance, God spoke that it is time to bring strategic order to steward what He has provided! We continue to pursue His kingdom ways.
The faithful couple who had the original vision from the Lord. These two met at a YWAM campus in Australia, and since being married in 2010, have obeyed every step He put before them. From leading DTS’s in Australia, to being a part of many pioneering teams of campus’ to ministries and initiatives, they have joyfully served God wholeheartedly every step of the way.
